The Arconia trio is finally back in Hollywood. The season premiere has already given us plenty of laugh-out-loud funny moments, as well as surprise celebrity appearances from Eugene Levy, Zach Galifianakis and Eva Longoria, who are set to play Charles, Oliver and Mabel in the film.

The trio learns of her death this week, finding her burned remains in the hotel crematorium and instantly identifying her by her artificial bones. When speculating on the most likely suspects so far, we must first consider why someone would want to kill Saz. Since she is often confused with Charles, it is plausible that he is the target.The final scenes of season three, in which Saz is seen desperately trying to talk to Charles alone, likely to warn him off, lend further credence to this theory. But even if Saz was the intended target, it’s likely the killer holds a grudge against Charles and wants to make things personal.
With this in mind, The most likely suspect so far is Jean Bellows.the imprisoned killer from season one. Her romance with Charles was one of the funniest subplots of the show's first year, especially when her murderous intentions came to light, and it also resulted in one of the best plot twists in the series. Eventually, Charles decided to break up with her, but his decision to send Saz to do it for him now seems like a bad one. Even more interesting is the fact that season 3 revealed that Saz was now in a relationship with Jean herself, perhaps as a way to lure her into a trap in revenge on Charles. And while Amy Ryan wasn’t listed as one of the returning stars this year, her guest appearance isn’t the most surprising thing the show could do.
But at the same time, She seems like a very obvious culprit, even if it would be smart to have a one-time returning killer.The Season 3 finale could have another potential hint, as one of the final scenes shows Charles’ ex-girlfriend, Joy, receiving a text from her new boyfriend, Scott Bakula, who she claims is “saying hi.” So it would be hard to believe that his surprise appearance in this week’s season premiere was a coincidence or the revelation that Saz was also his stand-in. Given how creator John Hoffman has talked about basing Season 4 around the idea of clones, it would be smart for the killer to be another TV actor. Remember how Oliver mistook Charles for Scott in the pilot? Maybe that was a foreshadowing.
Are the only murders in the building from Hollywood movies?

Of course, this could be a bit like Season 2’s revelation that true crime host Cinda Canning’s assistant Becky Butler was responsible for that year’s murder and sought to frame her boss and our main trio. But given how much this year has been about Hollywood and its brutal nature, that’s not out of the question either.

Obviously, all of this is just speculation at this point. And as the show has long proven by now, the real culprit isn’t the most obvious one, as evidenced by its love of misleading details. In any case, the stage is set for what should be an exciting fourth season. And if this week’s premiere is any indication, it’s going to be a very exciting one.
