Only Murders in the Building Stars Talk Bringing Season 4 to Hollywood

She spoke to The Hollywood Reporter at the Season 4 premiere of Only murders in the buildingThe trio opened up about their experience moving the show to Los Angeles, rather than staying in New York. Gomez, who plays Mabel Maura in the series, spoke directly about her experience, saying it was “fun.”

“We have a great cast, we're going to Hollywood, and it's been fun filming here for the second time.”


Before she could explain further, Martin, who grew up in Inglewood, California and plays Charles Haden Savage, politely interrupted her with laughter to continue talking. “It was so much fun to come here to shoot. It was like a show in New York, and then we came here to shoot where I grew up. It was like shooting in the Hollywood Hills.”

In turn, he was interrupted jokingly by actor Short (Oliver Puttnam in the series), who encouraged his co-star to stop chattering. “We get the point, you like it. I have a flight in two days, so we get it.”
