FilmNation Entertainment has sold key international territories for Pablo Larrain's “Maria,” starring Angelina Jolie, which had its world premiere in the main competition section of the Venice Film Festival.
International buyers include Studiocanal (UK, Germany, Poland), ARP (France), 01 Distribution (Italy), Latin America/Spain/Portugal/South Africa (Sun Distribution), Switzerland (Pathe), Benelux (The Searchers), Czech Republic (AQS), Greece (Faliro House), Israel (Lev), Middle East (Italy), Bulgaria/Former Yugoslavia (MCF), Ukraine (Green Light), Baltic States (Acme), and Turkey (Bir).
Netflix is set to release the film in the US, it was announced this week.
