Pose Star Dominique Jackson to Host Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS

“Pose” star Dominique Jackson will host the fifth annual Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation Gala in Beverly Hills on September 26.

The event, hosted by the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation at the Beverly Hills Hotel, will honor Richard Dixon, chairman and CEO of Gap Inc., with the Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to Ending AIDS Award. Gilead Sciences, the event’s title sponsor, will support the gala.

Dixon has long supported people affected by HIV and AIDS, particularly through his support of the Children’s AIDS Foundation. He previously served on the board of directors of Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA and currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. As CEO of Gap Inc. since August 2023, Dixon leads a $15 billion portfolio of iconic American brands, including Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta.

“The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation is thrilled to honor Richard Dixon with the Elizabeth Taylor Commitment to Ending AIDS Award at this year’s ceremony for his tireless and admirable dedication over the years to helping people affected by HIV and AIDS,” Catherine Brown, executive director of the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, said in a statement Tuesday. “His purpose-driven leadership in business, branding and philanthropy makes all the difference.”
