Production Starts on Season 2 of Prime Video Aussie Series


Production has begun in Darwin, Northern Territory, on the second season of Prime VideoAustralian comedy series “Dedlock.” Filming will later move to Brisbane, Queensland.

The first season saw two very different detectives come together to solve the murder of a man in Tasmania. The second season saw the return of Kit Box and Madeleine Sami As Detectives Dulcie Collins and Eddie Redcliffe, they are joined by Steve Beesley (“The Great Gatsby”), Shari Sibbins (“Blue Sapphire”), writer Jane Tong (“Broken Heart High”) and in their acting debuts, Genevieve Morris, Byron Cole, Nikki Britton, Anthony J. Sharp, Blake Pavey, Damien Jarvie, Ngali Shaw, Bev Killick, Ling Cooper Tang, Ursula Yovich, Syd Brisbane, Ines English and Lennox Monaghan.

The second season of “Deadloch” was created and written by Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan Who also serve as executive producers alongside Kevin White and Tanya Fegan of Guess the TVAndy Walker is the producer. The series is directed by Beck Cole and Gracie Otto. “Deadloch” is produced by Guesswork Television and OK Great Productions. New Year's Comedy

Singapore’s most commercially successful filmmaker, Jack Neo, is set to produce “AI Ping Cai Hui Ying,” a comedy about artificial intelligence and ordinary people. Neo told local media that he will shoot the film next month and plans to release it in time for the Chinese New Year holiday in late January 2025. He said the budget is S$2.5 million (US$1.92 million) and that he is still looking for investors and distributors.

Global superstar Akon will perform his Akon Superfan Tour Live concert in Malaysia on November 19, at the Megastar Arena in Kuala Lumpur and the following day at the Arena Expo in Singapore. Both concerts are being organised by J Harris Entertainment, the management company founded by Malaysian singer and actor Harris Baba.
