Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Trailer Previews A Shocking Friendship Demise

Bravo's favorite ice queens are officially back for season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake CityThe trailer for the upcoming fifth season of the hit reality show has dropped, and it’s another season full of explosive moments. Heather Jay, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks, and Angie Katsanfas are all back for another round of mayhem. Original cast member and “friend” from last season, Mary Cosby, is also back full-time. Joining the reality TV madness this season will be Bronwyn Newport, who was initially introduced as Lisa Barlow’s friend.

If the trailer is any indication, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City The Walking Dead season 2 sees another major shift in their dynamic. While no direct conflict is shown between cousins Heather Jay and Whitney Rose in the trailer, an audio clip at the beginning of the video seems to hint at a potential rift. Heather can be heard confronting someone about communicating with their “sworn enemy,” which is immediately followed by Whitney mentioning looking for evidence of something and receiving evidence. This could be tied to former cast member Monica Garcia, who recently hinted that the cast blocked her from returning to the show, but made it clear that Whitney and Meredith Marks were not responsible for this. It could also be tied to former star Jen Shah, who is serving a 6.5-year prison sentence.

Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow appear to be back on good terms. The duo had a falling out in the show's second season after a profanity-filled hot mic moment, where Lisa referred to Meredith as a “trash whore.” However, the trailer for season five shows them calming each other down after several tense moments with the rest of the cast. Both women find themselves in hot water with several of their cast mates, putting them squarely in the middle of drama once again.

Lisa and Meredith vs. Everyone

After defending herself against accusations related to her work at Vida Tequila, Lisa faces a new struggle over the issue. In the trailer, she announces that she “Build everything” She has, as Whitney Rose said. “On the backs of others.” This moment prompts Lisa to stand up from the table and demand that Whitney remove the wig she is wearing that bears Lisa's name. Another source of discord between Lisa and her former best friend Angie Katsanfas appears to stem from Angie's comments about Lisa's parenting style. Lisa accuses Angie of not being a “good friend” to her lately, prompting Angie to stand up and declare that Lisa has been a “bitch” to her.

On the other hand, Meredith will spend the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City This season, Meredith has been at odds with her former best friend and confidant Mary Cosby. There's certainly been no one on the cast more on Mary's team than Meredith, so the disintegration of their friendship is one of the more shocking moments in the trailer. After a heated exchange in which Mary tells Meredith that she's not “always the victim,” Meredith doesn't take the comment lightly, accusing Mary of taking advantage of her for the past three years. However, the duo's nasty feud doesn't seem to end there, as Mary is seen kicking Meredith out of her house at a staff dinner later in the season.
