In a recent interview with MovieWeb about the highly anticipated second season of the series, which premieres on August 29, Wyman was candid about the possibility of him actually playing Gandalf, noting:
“I've really enjoyed playing this character since she was born almost in Middle-earth.
I feel like it doesn't really matter to me. [if he’s Gandalf]I don't think I'm trying to make him go one way or another.
I love the way the writing puts me in a current situation, with a lot of stakes around, often with Markella. [Kavenagh’s] And Megan [Richards’] The characters, Nori and Bobby. They are pure fun to play.”
“I’m really grateful that we got to work together on Season 2,” Wyman quickly added of his co-stars, Cavenagh and Richards. “It was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done in my career.” But it wasn’t all rosy and rainbows for Wyman.
