While watching Deadpool and WolverineIt's hard to imagine how any of the actors managed to get through a single scene without dying. Ryan Reynolds recently took to Twitter to share his love for Dogpool, revealing a major blunder involving the adorable pooch. During the scene where Deadpool and Wolverine meet Baseball (also Ryan Reynolds), Deadpool's passion for Dogpool led to him receiving several kisses from the long-tongued pooch. During filming, Dogpool's tongue seemed a bit annoying to Reynolds, who died mid-shoot, much to Hugh Jackman's amusement. “Dogbull's tongue is an acquired taste.” This is Reynolds' comment. “I recommend not buying it.” Check out the video below:
Despite what some fans might think, Dogpool is a real dog. Peggy won the UK's Ugliest Dog award (which was judged by some very cruel people), and Reynolds knew he had to cast her for the role in Dogball. Speaking to Empire, Reynolds said he felt the dog had a direct connection to Deadpool. He explained:
“The reason I supported her so much is because she feels like an animal embodiment of Wade Wilson.”
