“There's an artist I've loved my whole life, and she's so amazing in so many ways,” the “Espresso” singer says of a surprise guest.

Sabrina Carpenter enlisted singer Kacey Musgraves to cover Nancy Sinatra's hit song “These Boots Are Made for Walkin'” during the “Espresso” singer's performance at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco.

“Well, Bay Area, I have a surprise for you. Do you want it?” Carpenter asked the audience before bringing out her guest. “Well, I have a surprise, and it’s honestly too much for you, but I think you’ll enjoy it.”

“There’s an artist that I’ve loved my whole life, and she’s so amazing in so many ways, and her voice has helped me through so many pivotal moments in my life and she means so much to me. And somehow, she arranged her schedule to be here with us tonight.”

Then Musgraves — who performed Nancy Sinatra's song live nearly 100 times in concert between 2014 and 2016, but not since — appeared on stage for a duet, with the two singers trading verses and strutting around the stage.
