Salma Hayek, Kim Kardashian and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are co-hosting the upcoming Women's Choice Awards.
The third annual gala, presented by the Kering Foundation, will raise funds for organizations focused on breaking the cycle of gender-based violence and supporting survivors and their families.
Co-hosts also include François-Henri Pinault, Camila Alves McConaughey, Matthew McConaughey, Carmelo Anthony, Urs Fischer, Donatella Versace, Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup.
The event took place during New York Fashion Week on September 9 at The Pool, benefiting Girl Effect, It's On Us, and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV).
The Women’s Care Dinner, produced by JWP, will feature a dinner for 200 people, a surprise performance and an auction of one-of-a-kind items and experiences from Kering houses, including Gucci, Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato and Ginori 1735.
Last year's live auction brought in $3 million.
“For women and children to be free to fulfil their potential without the burdens of fear, intimidation and trauma, it is crucial that we address violence at its roots to change behaviour and heal our collective culture,” François-Henri Pinault, chairman and CEO of Kering and president of the Kering Foundation, said in a statement on Thursday.
Since 2008, the Kering Foundation has been working to end gender-based violence and improve the lives of survivors. It partners with local feminist NGOs in six countries to support survivor-centered services and prevention programs. It also mobilizes its networks to take action, raise awareness and provide critical additional funds to end violence against women and children.
