The comedy spinoff will premiere October 29 on Disney Channel, and the following day on Disney+.
In the new Disney spin-off trailer The Witches Beyond Waverly PlaceAll is not as it seems. Selena Gomez and David Henrie return to their roots as witches in the new clip, as an adult Alex Russo (Gomez) introduces an adult Justin Russo (Henry) to Billie (Janice Lynn Brown), a “rebellious and stubborn” witch, as Alex puts it, who needs training. After Alex convinces her brother to return to casting spells, he also tries to reconcile his quiet, mortal lifestyle with his family.
“I know all this magic can be a lot, but I promise you nothing will change,” Henry says in the trailer.
This spin-off follows the popular Disney Channel series. Waverly Place Treatments, which ran from 2007 to 2012 and won two Emmy Awards in the children's programming category.
