‘Shogun’ Star Yuki Kedoin to Be Represented by AIG


Japanese-born actor Yuki Kidoin has signed with Artist International Group and will be represented by Ian Stack and Kimberly Hines.

Kidwin can most recently be seen playing Takemaru in all 10 episodes of the FX/Hulu series “Shogun” (2024). The series has garnered 25 Emmy nominations for 2024.

“Yuki has had an extraordinary year showcasing his talent to the world. We are thrilled to support him as his career continues to flourish,” said Stack. “With a prolific career spanning theater, independent film and now television, Yuki’s artistic talent is undeniable. Partnering with him to expand his international opportunities is a natural fit.”

Prior to Shogun's success, Kedoin had made notable appearances in films and television series, including Netflix's “The Manga Master” and “The Naked Director.”

Since 2018, Kidwin has played an important role in the Next Generation Promising Actors Development Program run by the Japanese government's Agency for Cultural Affairs, particularly with the works of Goro Kara, a playwright who represents the Japanese theatrical world.

In 2021, Kidwin moved to Vancouver, Canada, where he received two years of artistic training from Bill Millerd, Artistic Director Emeritus of the Arts Club Theatre Company. This training was part of the “Overseas Emerging Artists Training Program” offered by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan.

Kidwin currently resides in Japan and North America, where he writes, directs and acts. His most recent directorial work includes the short film “Ippo”.

Kidwin will join an AIG roster that includes international talents such as Michelle Yeoh, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Gong Li and Til Schweiger.

Yuki Kidwin will continue to be represented by Carrier Talent Management in Canada and Jack & Jill Talent Agent in Europe.
