The brand's Anthem National Collection features Biles and Katie Ledecky, and the entire Athleta line is now on sale.
Competition on Sponsoring the greatest Olympic athletes is as fierce as the games themselves. Gap’s women’s sports brand Athleta has some notable figures on its roster. While Nike is the official sponsor of Team USA, Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky, the most decorated athletes in women’s gymnastics and swimming, have partnered with Athleta. Their partnership is part of the brand’s “Power of Women” campaign, which “connects, celebrates and empowers women who are changing the game.”

In addition to the Power of She campaign, Athleta unveiled the Anthem collection in June ahead of the Olympics, a limited-edition collection of red, white and blue workout apparel. The collection includes leggings, sweatshirts and sweatshirts emblazoned with the phrase “Find Your Movement.” Athleta has sponsored Simone Biles since 2021, while Katie Ledecky joined the brand in March. Athleta outfits athletes for their training and exercise needs (Biles’ and Ledecky’s competition uniforms are made by GK Elite and TYR, respectively).
“Athleta has a long history of supporting athletes holistically, and that resonates with me,” Ledecky said in the partnership announcement in March. “I am more than just my sport, and I know firsthand how harnessing the spirit of the Athleta Power of She platform can help empower women and girls.”
At this year’s Olympics, Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky continued their dominance. Simone Biles led the United States to an Olympic gold medal in the team final. Ledecky easily won the 1,500-meter freestyle, finishing nearly 18 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
