Zay Bennett, Director of Content at Sky Studios, has moved to BBC Studios Productions, where he has been appointed Chief Creative Officer.
Bennett’s responsibilities will include the company’s UK and international production units, as well as company-owned brands (such as “Baby Reindeer” producer Clerkenwell Films) and independent invested companies. In terms of genre, he covers the company’s entire output, including entertainment, factual, scripted, children’s and family, and audio.
In his new role, he will be responsible for building intellectual property, maintaining returning series and brands, securing new commissions and expanding BBC Studios’ international format product line.
At Sky, where Bennett has spent the past decade, his most recent role was managing director of content.
