Snoop Dogg Gifts Simone Biles’ Dad a Death Row Chain for 75th Birthday

“Now he doesn’t know how to act,” Simone’s sister Adria joked about the gold chain.

Simone Biles' dad Ronald celebrated his milestone birthday just days after his daughter made history at the Olympics — and now he has a gift from Snoop Dogg to remember it by. On Thursday, the gymnast's sister Adria shared a photo of their dad Ronald celebrating his 75th birthday with a gold chain around his neck — given to him by Snoop Dogg himself.

“Snoop gave him a chain and now he doesn't know what to do,” Adria wrote on Instagram. The photo shows Ronald holding a gold Death Row Records chain over Team USA merchandise as they celebrated inside the Olympic Stadium. “75 looks great on you! Happy Birthday Love you,” Adria continued.

Also on Thursday, Simone posted a photo of Ronald holding a chocolate cake and candles as the family watched track and field. The cake read, “Happy Birthday.”

The Biles family spent time with Snoop during the games. Simone's parents, Nelly and Ronald, watched the opening ceremony with Snoop and Hoda Kotb, and reminisced about a time they met Snoop years ago. “I'll never forget running into you in Times Square in 2010,” Nelly said during the ceremony as the crew laughed. “We asked for a picture and you said, 'Two minutes.' One, two and you were gone.”

The stunning celebration comes just one week after Biles completed her Olympic career, winning three gold medals and a silver for Team USA. Biles made history by winning the all-around final, which she also won in Rio in 2016. The win made her the first American gymnast to win the women's all-around twice and only the third gymnast ever to do so.

Meanwhile, Snoop Dogg has become a fan favorite during NBC's coverage of the Paris Olympics. On Friday, the musician kicked off the first breakdance battles of the Olympics by walking across the stage.
