The Acolyte Showrunner Confirms Identity of Sith Master on Disney+ Series

This reveal was not as impactful as Darth Vader's revelation that he was Luke Skywalker's father. However, most star Wars Fans already knew, or at least strongly suspected, that Darth Plagueis the Wise was the strange Sith Lord, but disciple Show Director Leslie's head Officially confirmed their relationship. While Kemer, aka The Stranger (Manny Jacinto), and Lord Plagueis never shared a scene together, fans were treated to a very quick shot of the Sith Lord lurking in the shadows during the Season 1 finale. Headland said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:


We wanted to answer a lot of questions, we wanted to show Mr. Gamer [Darth Plagueis]We couldn't wait for season 2 for that.

Qimir is arguably the most interesting character to grace the eight-episode series on Disney+. The Stranger, obsessed with finding his own disciple, turns out to have strong connections to both the Sith and the Jedi. As mentioned, fans see Plagueis playing hide-and-seek in his brief appearance, but Qimir is also revealed to be connected to Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh (Rebecca Henderson).


After Osha (Amandla Stenberg) forcefully kills Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae), Darth Vader-style, the Jedi arrive too late. Without her special cortose helmet that blocks all senses, Master Vernestra is able to “sense” the presence of her former student somewhere on the planet. The stranger quickly puts his mask back on to block Vernestra, but their former student/teacher relationship is revealed to the audience.


Leslye Headland Admits 'You Have to Take a Break'

disciple Series creator and producer Leslye Headland regrets not exploring Master Fernstra's backstory, but there was only a limited amount of story she could include in the first season of the series. star Wars The appearances of Master Yoda and Darth Plagueis were certainly interesting, but even if the powers that be greenlight a second season, Headland insists on taking a break first. “You should take some rest, especially after something like this.

It's so weird to be in a place now where I don't need to do that.

I always say to beginning writers,
“The most important thing you can do is sit back and do nothing,
Because once you start making a story, you're going to get nervous.
“The story can't start that way.”
