Kit Harington He is seen as a monster inside and out in a poorly executed allegory about domestic violence. The beast inside The film revolves around a sick little girl who wonders where her stormy father goes during a full moon. Her search for the truth is as clear as day to a bored audience waiting for the characters to reveal the obvious truth. The problem here is that the werewolf elements of the film hide a terrified family ruled by a tyrant. The double entendre in the film's title is poetic but does nothing to fill the void of common sense in the flawed narrative.
Kit Harington is a bad father to a werewolf.

From her attic bedroom window, Willow (Quillin Springall) watches a mysterious ritual that continues like clockwork every night. Her mother, Imogen (Ashleigh Cummings), loads a robed Noah (Harrington) into their old Land Rover. Then she places a squealing pig in a cage in the back before driving out of the family’s remote English compound and into the dense woods. Willow builds houses out of matchsticks while breathing oxygen through a mask. Waylon (James Cosmo), her maternal grandfather, takes her outside with a stern warning. She must stay inside the gates at all times.
The family has a grand dinner in the dilapidated house without Noah. Willow returns to her room to sweet goodnight kisses from Imogen. She notices her father back the next morning. Imogen tries to cover his naked body, but Willow can see that he is dirty and torn. She shudders at the moaning sounds coming from the floorboards. The frightened girl blocks the door to the room with her horse.
Willow musters the courage to ask Imogen why her father left home. Where is she taking him? Imogen eerily replies that she is safe and will always be protected. These words ring hollow when Willow decides to find out the truth. Sneaking out and tracking down the car later that night, she discovers a dark secret and the extraordinary lengths her parents have gone to keep it hidden.

6 Werewolf Movies Coming in 2024 and Beyond
Gothic monsters are back in style. We take a look at six new werewolf movies set to hit screens this year and next.
The Beast Within Disappoints His Little Daughter
The beast inside The entire film is seen from Willow’s perspective. She’s neither overly nosy nor silly. But like her mother and grandfather, she’s constantly on edge about everything involving Noah. His character doesn’t speak or give more than a passing glance until the second act. This is done deliberately to instill a shyness and caution in his presence. Willow is afraid of her father, and not just because he’s gone. Young Caroline Springall is excellent here in a film that lets her down, and even Kit Harington’s performance can’t save her.
Treating Willow Disease is Mind-BendingWillow carries an oxygen tank (aka a MacGuffin). The movie never explains what happened to her. Willow gasps for air when she panics. Tie up your breathing tubes, the monster is coming to tear you apart. However, she can run like a deer through the woods and up the rickety stairs without breaking a sweat. Willow's lungs only fail when the script needs them to.

Why Joe Dante's The Howling Is the Best Werewolf Movie of the 80s
The classic horror film finds the perfect balance between sarcasm, self-deprecating humor, and effective scares. Here's why The Howling is the best.
Weak text symbolizes domestic violence
Director and co-writer Alexander J. Farrell (Refugee) wants to say A story about domestic violence using terror as a means. At first, we are supposed to believe that Imogen's bruises are the result of Noah's monstrous transformation. He can't help himself. He is an uncontrollable wolf who attacks. This is clearly not the case when Noah's aggressive personality attacks his family in human form. He goes from being a sweet, loving person to being cruel in an instant. His wife and daughter love him but are terrified of what Noah has become.
There are obvious problems with how the script handles this change. Most notable is the strange relationship between Imogen and Waylon. She curses her father for caring about their safety. But he also lives in the compound, helps her facilitate Noah’s deception, and takes no action against a man who has been shown to pose a physical threat to his daughter and granddaughter. Why does he enable Noah and allow his family to live in a threatening situation? Waylon's actions are unbelievable.

Father returns home early in the terrible ending
The beast inside It falls prey to ridiculous genre tropes in a confusing climax that could have happened literally at any point in the film. Why do all the precautions taken to secure the house fail at that particular time? There is no triggering event. What happens at the end could be the opening scene. The characters also act in a way that lacks any thought of self-preservation.which contrasts with the previous show that showed the need for extreme caution. Imogen planned for this exact scenario and somehow failed. She made a ridiculous mistake that defies logic and will have the audience groaning loudly.
Escaping an abuser is never easy. Imogen loves Noah despite everything he has done and is capable of doing. Her true feelings are the chains that bind a toxic marriage. But he also won't let her leave with Willow. In that sense, The beast inside Gets one thing right.
