The movie has a Guy Ritchie feel. With chatty, silly characters fighting each other in a bloody barrage of split-screen edits and accompanying music. Everything has been deliberately exaggerated to the point of being wrong. The humor is supposed to be here, but Cleaning crew It elicits mild laughs at best.

Spanish gangster Gabriel Barrett (Banderas) has been ruthlessly running the crime ring since arriving in Ireland three years ago, and some people are sick of it. Danny and Jack, the idiots who work for Gabriel's crumbs, are tired of working for Gabriel's crumbs. The hired thugs decide to steal a crate of slush money instead of handing it over to a corrupt Special Crime Agency officer. Let's just say the deal doesn't go as planned. The police sweep up the aftermath but can't find the loot. The cleaners are called in to clean up the bloody crime scene.
Siobhan (Melissa Leo), the company owner, contacts the quarreling couple Alex (Jonathan Rhys Myers) and Megan (Ekaterina Baker) to work early in the morning. Megan has been longing to get married for years. She hopes to open a funeral home, a dream that Alex does not share. Charlie joins them (Swin Timmel), a huge drug addict with an explosive temper, who is easily controlled by Siobhan. This cleaning crew dons their red hazmat suits to do their duty, but they find a big surprise stuck in the chimney.

Antonio Banderas is not Machiavelli
The tone of the film becomes clear from the beginning, with Banderas overactingHis sleek black hair, thin mustache, and interest in Machiavellianism are ridiculously exaggerated. Gabriel brandishes his gun theatrically like an orchestral composer, but he doesn't look threatening. His farcical antics continue as his incompetent henchmen mock him while also being terrified. These aren't terrifying killers meant to be taken seriously.
The Good Life Cleaners has a similarly weird, cartoonish dynamic.Leo, with a flawless Irish accent, makes Siobhan complain in equal measure about her staff, her adopted children and the general malaise. Alex and Megan love each other but can’t seem to piece together their story of a future together. Then there’s Charlie, a phencyclidine-smoking drug addict who inexplicably blacks out every time the effects wear off. They’re a strange crew whose loyalties are tested when the stolen money becomes divisive.
Alex and Megan see their ill-gotten gains as a winning lottery ticket. Siobhan correctly assumes that whoever lost the case will surely come looking for her and put everyone’s lives in danger. How could they not be prime suspects? Charlie, in a rare moment of clarity, agrees with Alex and Megan. He cares about the money and isn’t afraid to fight for it.

Funny people in boring places
Screenwriter Matthew Rogers (Survivor, Codename Banshee) It offers no mystery to the story. The janitors, Gabriel's idiots, and the policemen collide with each other like ping pong balls in Scenes that make no sense at allCharlie, in a truly baffling turn of events, appears to be an unstoppable killer with a dark past. He is armed to the teeth when the going gets tough. Charlie can literally surround heavily armed assassins, miss every bullet, and take them all out without breaking a sweat or reloading his weapon.
Meanwhile, Alex isn’t just a wild psychopath; he actually has a moral dilemma about killing bad guys. His exchange with Charlie in the middle of the destruction was supposed to be funny, but it just doesn’t work. Are we supposed to laugh at their apparent strength while everyone else is being torn apart like Swiss cheese?

Cleaning crew He has a confusing editing style that gets old quickly. Prolific director and producer John Keyes, known primarily for his hit films American nightmareHe shot many of the action scenes on video on demand with Rogers and Banderas. His heavy use of split screen here must have been an attempt to define the look of the film (or another attempt to imitate Ritchie). It might have worked if all the scenes hadn't taken place in a few limited locations. Keyes is trying to add some excitement to the scene. Boring environments we've seen before to the point of nausea.There's no doubt that the warehouse, the forest, and the office couldn't be more exciting if we used editing tricks. This makes the film's low budget painfully obvious.

Cleaning crew The film grasps at straws and then fails to deliver. The good cast can't overcome tired dialogue, weak plot, and unremarkable events. Pacing also becomes an issue as the film struggles to fill its meager 90 minutes. The Prince One may enjoy Banderas' constant repetition, but the joke is… I definitely ran out of steam. For everyone. And like this character, the movie isn't as clever as it thinks.
