The footage shows the raven's brutal and bloody violence on anyone in his path as he embarks on a mission of revenge. There are also beautiful dramatic moments worthy of an opera, such as when the antihero falls to his knees before pounces on the final gunman.
The clip highlights the drama, suspense, and brutality that audiences can expect from this Gothic supernatural tale. As the raven makes its way to the upper floors of the building, its ascent is intercut with an ongoing opera performance, with some of the on-stage fighting footage deliberately mirroring the real violence taking place in the lobby. The raven’s rampage, coupled with the overwhelming soundtrack, veiled dancers, and stage actors, is eerily effective and thrilling. But will the new clip win over fans of the 1994 original?
