The song comes ahead of the rock band's Las Vegas residency to celebrate their debut album, hot fuss

The Killers have released a new single titled “Bright Lights.” The distinctive track marks the Las Vegas rock band’s first new music of 2024 and heralds their upcoming hometown residency.

In this upbeat, upbeat song, lead singer Brandon Flowers celebrates Las Vegas as he sings, “Will this endless stretch of desert road ever bring me back to where I belong?” A music video for the song, directed by Micah Beckham, will showcase the band’s residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The Killers' Las Vegas show kicks off on August 14 and runs through September 1. The band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album, hot fuss, Performing the LP from front to back for the first time ever.

The shows will feature all four members of the band — vocalist Brandon Flowers, guitarist Dave Keuning, bassist Mark Stormer, and drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr. — a rare occurrence since Stormer stopped touring with the band in 2016 due to hearing problems and fatigue from traveling, and Keuning took time away from 2017 and 2020 to spend more time with his family. He returned to the band in 2021, but has been absent from several recent tours.
