As first announced in January, Hulu has officially announced the new unscripted series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Lives,” which will premiere on Friday, September 6. All six episodes of the series will air at once.
The series is helmed by Jeff Jenkins Broad (Bling Empire, My Unorthodox Life), who describes how “the scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers comes crashing down when they are caught up in a global headline-grabbing sex scandal. Now, their sisterhood is deeply shaken. Faith, friendship, and reputations are all on the line. Can #MomTok survive and continue to compete with the rulebook, or will this group fall from grace?”
Rob Mills, executive vice president of alternative entertainment at The Walt Disney Company, first announced the existence of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” in January, during a panel discussion moderated by diverse At the Realscreen conference in New Orleans.
