SPOILER ALERT! MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD FOR THE Umbrella Academy.
Umbrella Academy It's a show about a family—albeit a dysfunctional one—of seven adopted children with superpowers and a strange father. Over the course of four seasons, the series has shown us what happens when that father prioritizes the children's powers over their feelings. Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castaneda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Shean), Five (Aidan Gallagher), Ben (Justin H. Min), and Victor (Elliot Page) are called the Umbrella Academy, and have been exploited and abused by their father, Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore).
For example, Luthor was left on the moon for an extended period of time for no reason (though it was discovered in season 4 that he was there guarding Reginald's wife, Abigail, without his knowledge); Five, who had the ability to time travel, was thrown into the future and stuck there for years; and Victor was so powerful that his father suppressed his powers and erased his memory of having them. Oh, and Ben is dead.
These brothers and sisters clearly have their fair share of problems. However, over the course of four seasons, they have managed to show each other their support when it matters most. But that hasn’t stopped the plot from raising questions that we still don’t have answers to. We’ll look at some of them here, especially the questions raised by last season.
Reginald and Abigail Hargreeves are aliens, but what does that mean?
The show makes Reginald and Abigail Hargreeves' alien existence a big deal. – The film also shows Reginald's long life. He has lived on Earth since at least the early 20th century, having come to Earth when his planet suffered an apocalyptic catastrophe. But despite all this arrangement, we have seen little of what these aliens look like or understand how powerful they are. So why was it important for them to be aliens at all?
Furthermore, when Reginald learns that Abigail is responsible for the apocalypse in season 4, and that she caused it intentionally, she tells him that it was necessary because she deserved to die for creating Margold and Durango and his actions on the planet were arrogance. But why did Reginald finally agree with her? And why did she sacrifice the Earth to punish herself and Reginald? Abigail had already killed a planet. Isn’t that enough?
How did Jennifer get into squid?
In Season 4, we learn what really happened to Ben from The Umbrella Academy: when he was young, he and a girl, a young version of Jennifer, were killed by Reginald when Ben opened the box she was being held in. But the last thing we see is them bleeding out on the floor. How did Jennifer get inside the squid? Even if Ben became the squid after his death, it's not clear how Jennifer got inside him — or why she's alive..

The Umbrella Academy Cast Talks About Series Finale
Elliot Page and other stars of the hit Netflix series are saying goodbye to the series as the final season approaches.
also, Why doesn't Luther remember this incident at least in season 4? He has to because in Season 3, he tells Ben from Sparrow Academy that Ben from Umbrella Academy died in the “Jennifer Incident.” While he doesn't say what that means, it's clear that he remembers the truth about what happened to Ben back then. Why doesn't he remember it six years later?
What happened to Sloane? And why is Claire still alive?
When the siblings appear in the new timeline at the end of season three, Sloane (Genesis Rogers), a member of the Sparrow Academy and Luthor's wife, is not there, but Luthor, who has died, is. As Luther searches for Sloane, she appears to be absent from this timeline. But she survived the Cobbleblitz attack like everyone else, except Luther. So why is Luther suddenly alive and nowhere to be found? Did Reginald trade her life for Luther’s? There’s no real explanation, and she’s largely forgotten in season four, save for a shout-out or two from Luther. But that’s odd considering she played a major role in the previous season.

The Umbrella Academy Ending Makes No Sense (And That's a Problem)
The Umbrella Academy was a great show, but the ending of the fourth and final season makes no sense.
Also, why, after everything that happened, are Claire, Alison's daughter, and Diego's children still alive if their father has disappeared from existence? It's possible that Lila, Diego's wife and mother of his children, used the trains to switch timelines to protect them from the Purge, but even then, If their parents cease to exist – as if they had never been born into this world – it seems impossible that their children could still be alive..
There are no satisfactory answers to any of these things. Then there are the smaller questions. Like, why does Luther have a monkey body again after being dosed with marigold in season four, even though his monkey body was originally the result of surgery, not marigold? Why do some siblings have different or enhanced powers after taking marigold and others don’t? And what was Ben doing on that train at the end of season three, and why wasn’t he picked up again in season four?
A lot of this stuff can be attributed to Season 4 only being six episodes long, but there are things the writers clearly missed or forgot, which is why, after three great seasons, Many people were disappointed with the fourth part..
