Travis Kelce’s PR Firm Weighing Legal Action Over ‘False’ Breakup Plan

Public Relations The firm representing Travis Kelce says it is considering legal action after a “false and fabricated” press release surfaced online strategizing the soccer star's impending split from Taylor Swift.

An image of the alleged leaked document — “A Comprehensive Media Plan for Travis Kelce’s Post-Breakup Relationships with Taylor Swift” — first surfaced on Reddit earlier this week, claiming the breakup occurred in late September. Also featured in the document was an official letter from Full Scope Public Relations, the firm that represents Kelce.

However, in a statement issued on Thursday to the peopleFull Scoop has categorically confirmed that the “comprehensive media plan” is a fake created by people unknown so far.

“These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency,” a FullScope spokesperson said. “We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and malicious forgery of the documents.”

(The Reddit post that first shared the fake document has since been deleted, with fans online now speculating that the “comprehensive media plan” was perhaps a school project for an overzealous fan.)

The fake document, coincidentally, arrived just days before the Kansas City Chiefs open the 2024 season on Thursday night, a game that Swift is reportedly set to attend. The singer also recently featured prominently in the NFL’s promotional ad for the upcoming season.

Swift was also a recurring topic in Kelce's interviews leading up to the NFL season, with the tight end telling Rich Eisen Show Just a few days earlier, Swift had been devising potential offensive plays. “She was very open to learning the game, she didn’t know much about the rules or anything… I think she was just curious about the business,” he said. “I know none of the plays went to the coach [Andy] “Red hasn’t done it yet, but if they do I’ll make sure everyone knows she did it.”
