Travis Scott to Re-Release ‘Days Before Rodeo’ to Streaming Services

After announcing yesterday during his appearance at Fanatics Fest that his mixtape “Days Before Rodeo” would be coming to streaming for the first time, Travis Scott has officially revealed that the project will be released on DSP platforms on August 23rd in honor of its 10th anniversary.

Scott initially released the 12-song collection as a free prelude to his debut album, “Rodeo.” He released “Days Before Rodeo” on August 18, 2014, nearly a year before his official debut project was released on September 4, 2015. “Days” consisted of the singles “Don't Play” featuring Big Sean and The 1975 as well as “Mamacita” featuring Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug. Additional guest appearances came from Migos, Peewee Longway, and Young Thug, as well as production from Metro Boomin, Lex Luger, WondaGurl, and more.

The album's live release is accompanied by a merchandise store offering three different sets of hats, hoodies, and CDs. Fans can access additional unreleased tracks from the “Days Before Rodeo” era by purchasing a digital copy of the album on his website.

To honor the re-release, Scott released a trailer for the mix on his Instagram, showing footage of him in the studio with Future and Young Thug as well as clips of him skating through the crowd during a show. He wrote in the caption: “Days before the 10th anniversary of RODEO. Celebrating the re-release finally. Out everywhere August 23rd and maybe some DBR songs from that era from The Vault. Since the release of “Days Before Rodeo” and “Rodeo,” Scott has become a prominent figure in the hip-hop world, releasing three subsequent solo albums as well as two collaborative albums. His latest album, “Utopia,” was released in July 2023 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in its first week of release.
