The former president was again upset by Dem's “bizarre” attacks while speaking to Fox News' Sean Hannity.
Donald Trump proved exceptionally irritable when discussing his running mate, Vice President Kamala Harris, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, during a town hall meeting in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
When Trump spoke to Sean Hannity at a Fox News event, he bragged about reports that members of the governor’s family had endorsed him. But the former president — who has grown increasingly frustrated with the Democrats’ “bizarre” line of attack on him and his running mate, J.D. Vance — quickly seized on the opportunity to air his grievances about the highly effective obscenity.
“J.D. is not a freak,” Trump insisted. “He is a solid rock. I am a very solid rock. We are not freaks. We may be other things, but we are not freaks.”
“But he’s a strange man. He walks on stage, there’s something wrong with this man and he calls me ‘weird,’” he continued, trying to focus on Wallis. “And then the fake news media picked up on it. That was the word of the day. ‘Weird. Weird. Weird.’ They were all saying — but we’re not strange men, we’re very strong people who want our country to be great again. It’s very simple.”
Sources said earlier Rolling Stone Trump has reportedly complained to advisers and confidants about how much attention the Democrats' and Harris's “bizarre” attacks have received in the media — including on his generally friendly favorite network, Fox News.
Last month, Trump went so far as to accuse the Harris campaign of colluding with the media to label him “weird.” The former president baselessly claimed:They are Weird! Do you know what they're doing? They're working with the press to create the soundtrack.
As Harris’s campaign rapidly gains momentum — landing key endorsements and millions of dollars in fundraising — Trump has responded with alarm at her crowd sizes and increased hateful rhetoric.
