Ariana Madix has been in a lot of legal trouble this week after a woman sued her over a dispute at a sandwich shop on Thursday, just two days after her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval sued her over an inappropriate video of another woman she found on his phone.
In the latest lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, plaintiff Penny Davidi Borsuk alleges that Madix and Vanderpump Rules Co-star Katie Maloney failed to honor a verbal agreement that guaranteed her a 10 percent partnership stake in the women’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, which opened in West Hollywood last May. Borsuk alleges that under the agreement, which was allegedly forged in June 2023, Madix and Maloney promised her the title of “COO/Culinary Director” and a payment of $7,500 a month through January 1, 2024, and $10,000 a month after that. Borsuk alleges that Madix and Maloney profited from her “significant work” on the restaurant venture and then “rejected the existence” of their agreement.
The law firm representing Madix in her legal battle with Sandoval did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday about the sandwich shop’s complaint. Attempts to reach Maloney’s representative were not immediately successful.
Late Tuesday, Sandoval filed a lawsuit against Madix, his ex-girlfriend, for invasion of privacy. He made the claim in a cross-complaint in a fierce legal battle that began in February when his ex-girlfriend accused him of violating her privacy. Vanderpump Rules Actress Raquel Levis has filed a lawsuit against Sandoval and Madix. In her complaint, Levis claims that Sandoval secretly recorded an “intimate” video of her during the secret relationship they began while Sandoval was still living with Madix. Levis claims that Madix committed “revenge porn” when she discovered the video on Sandoval’s phone, copied it, and shared it with others. Madix denies the allegation.
