Soon after After a hiatus and a one-off special on Prime Video last fall, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is officially back on the air.

The company announced this year’s fashion show will be held on October 15, with Grammy Award-winning singer Tyla joining Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser and a host of other models as they showcase the latest Victoria’s Secret fashions, as well as pieces designed specifically for the show.

Victoria's Secret says it chose Tyla for her “vibrant personality” and “innovative take on pop and R&B,” and describes the Afrobeats star as an “integral” part of the “entertainment, sexiness and fashion” of this year's show. While other performers have yet to be announced, Victoria's Secret confirms this year's lineup will be all-female for the first time ever.

“As a child, I was fascinated by the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — the stunning outfits, the iconic wings, and the gorgeous models,” Tayla said in a press release. “Now, I’m thrilled to be performing on this legendary stage. What’s even more exciting is that it celebrates diversity and showcases a broader range of beauty, making this moment truly special.”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show previously aired on CBS, though a broadcaster for this year’s edition has yet to be announced. The October event will mark the return of the glamorous show, which was canceled in 2019 amid declining ratings and changing perceptions of marketing tactics and the brand’s positioning. In a statement, Victoria’s Secret says this year’s show will bring back “the glamour, wings, fashion and musical entertainment that our customers know and love — with our values and brand mission at the forefront today.”

In fact, while the lingerie brand was previously known for its understated lingerie, recent years have seen the arrival of everything from sneakers and handbags, to full collections of chic dresses and maxi dresses.

The brand first announced the show’s return in an Instagram video last month, which featured Banks handing out an official invite to Hadid to attend the show. The clip is set to Chappell Roan’s “Femininomenon,” though it’s unclear if Roan will have any role in the actual show. We expect more models and performers to be announced in the coming weeks.
