Watch Godzilla Ferociously Tear Apart His Most Fearsome Foes In New Video



Since its first appearance in 1954, Godzilla Godzilla has arguably remained the most iconic kaiju on the planet. Toho’s iconic film went on to spawn an entire franchise that has now given us 38 films, and a plethora of memorable moments featuring Godzilla in battle against other creatures that have stood the test of time in their own right. Thanks to a new fan-made video, we have another bloody look at the When the legendary beast faces some of its most terrifying enemies.The results were amazing.




The animated video was created by YouTuber Vrahno, and shows Godzilla facing off against King Ghidorah, who he first fought in the 1964 classic. Ghidorah, the three-headed monster. Facing Megalon (who first appeared in 1973), Godzilla tears him apart before brutally destroying Ghidorah. From there, Gigan—the robotic alien kaiju who first appeared in 1972—emerges, but Godzilla quickly disposes of him by ripping him in half with his own chainsaw, before eventually using him to aid in his triumphant defeat of Mechagodzilla, his robotic counterpart. In the accompanying text, Farahno (whose YouTube channel includes a number of other Godzilla cartoons) says they created the video to serve as a beacon for others to help them deal with life's struggles. It's been a helpful reminder when dealing with the loss of their grandfather, who sadly passed away shortly after they began work on the project.

“This animated film was supposed to be simple and short. I made it so that if you ever feel overwhelmed by life’s difficulties, you can watch it quickly to relieve some of the stress. Imagine you are Godzilla and his enemies are your problems, and imagine yourself defeating them as quickly and efficiently as he defeats his enemies.”


What does the future hold for Godzilla?


After the success of Legendary's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Earlier this year, Godzilla minus one Despite the historic Monsterverse win for Best Visual Effects, the future looks bright for the film despite the departure of director Adam Wingard, who directed the last two Monsterverse films.

On the Toho side of things, Godzilla minus one Director Takashi Yamazaki is still adamant that his next project will not be a sequel to his hit film, and producer Minami Ichikawa seems to be backing him up by revealing that the famous company is in no rush to rush out another film. Instead, they want to take their time and make sure the new film is a success.
