barely blueThe band's fourth album, with Dave Cobb, was recorded at Georgia Mae Studios in Savannah, Georgia. The band announced the album earlier this summer with the single “Lucky Sometimes”, which featured collaborations with Chris Stapleton and Brendi Carlile.

Midland was on tour this summer prior to the release of barely blueThey are scheduled to perform at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on September 17 and will continue their tour throughout September, October, November and December across North America. In April, Midland took fans on a country music-themed cruise, Midland's the Last Resort Cruise, alongside Orville Peck, Flatland Cavalry, Hayes Carll and more.
