Ryan Seacrest has officially taken over as host. Wheel of FortuneLast night saw Seacrest make his debut as a host alongside Vanna White after Seacrest co-hosted the show. Live with Kelly and Ryan He takes over from Pat Sajak after 41 seasons.
The episode opened with the host saying, “And now, together for the first time, are our stars, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White!” Seacrest stood arm in arm with White as she welcomed him to the show. “I’m so happy to be here with you,” he said, adding, “Let’s have fun!”
After taking his place in the revamped set for the new season, Seacrest addressed the audience, saying, “Thank you for the warm welcome. Wheel of Fortune It's my dream job. I've been a fan of this show since I was a kid, watching it in Atlanta with my family, and I know how special it is. wheel “This song has been in your living rooms for the past 40 years. I am so grateful to have been invited. I also know that I have a very big task to do.”

The 77-year-old Sajak first started hosting Wheel of Fortune In 1981. In June 2023, he revealed on social media that the then-scheduled 41st season of the game show would be his last. “It's been an amazing journey, and I'll have more to say in the months ahead. Thank you all so much,” he said at the time.
Shortly after Sajak announced his retirement, wheelIt was announced that Seacrest will take the reins on the show, with White staying on to reveal the messages until at least the 2025-26 season.
