“I love my country “Whiskey with a bite,” Beyoncé says in a new video she posted online to celebrate the American debut of her whiskey, SirDavis, which fans can now buy online and in stores.
“I want you to try something for the first time,” Queen B continues in the video, which later shows the Grammy-winning icon holding a bottle of SirDavis and walking alongside a horse. “Feel your curiosity. Make this a night to remember. See the unknown and celebrate the new. And when the dust settles, let the memories flow.”

Beyoncé has teamed up with Moët Hennessy and master distiller Bill Lumsden to launch the star’s signature SirDavis whiskey, which is blended and bottled in Beyoncé’s home state of Texas. SirDavis, the latest celebrity spirits brand, went on pre-order in August and officially launches in stores and online on September 4, 2024, Beyoncé’s birthday.
“I’ve always been drawn to the strength and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and I wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling,” Beyoncé said in a statement about Sir Davis in August. “When I discovered that my great-grandfather was a bootlegger, I felt like my love of whisky was doomed. Sir Davis is a way for me to honor him, and unite us through a new shared legacy.”
Fans of the drink can now get it from sites like ReserveBar online starting at $89.99 per bottle, and nationwide at select stores and airports.

Now available online, Sir Davis’ sherry-infused whisky is 51% rye and 49% malted barley. Pour a glass and, according to the brand’s description, expect an aroma of “tart Seville oranges,” and flavors like “buttery toffee,” along with “cinnamon, cloves and classic rye spices up front.” Meanwhile, the finish includes “hints of honey,” which the brand highlighted in a cocktail recipe called “Honeydew.”
“The intentional design elements tell the story of SirDavis and pay homage to Knowles-Carter’s great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, a farmer and bootlegger, for whom the brand is named,” a press release explained. Meanwhile, the sleek, ribbed SirDavis bottle takes its design cues from “the Art Deco style of Hogue’s era.” The new spirit also stands out from other bottles on the market with its “elegant texture reminiscent of Japanese and Scottish whiskies,” according to a press release.
Although many fans are still waiting to get their hands on a bottle, SirDavis has already won numerous awards in the spirits world, including Best in Class at the 2023 SIP Awards, and winning a gold medal at the 2023 New York International Spirits Competition.
Outside of the world of spirits, Beyoncé launched her hair care company Cécred earlier this year.
