Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz are coming for the MAGA hat, and it looks like they're doing it with a little inspiration from Chappelle Rowan. The new presidential ticket just released a camouflage hat with “Harris Walz” text in yellow on the front — and it looks just like Rowan's best-selling hat The Rise and Fall of a Midwestern Princess goods.

The official hat is still available for pre-order on the Kamala Harris campaign website, but it won’t ship until at least October 14. In the meantime, supporters can get fan-made versions of the hat through sites like Etsy. Get this hat for $24.95.
Here’s how it all happened: On Tuesday, Harris posted a video of Walz accepting her offer to be her running mate in the 2024 presidential election. In the video, the 60-year-old Minnesota governor is seen sitting in his living room wearing a Midwestern ensemble: a black T-shirt, khaki pants, white sneakers, and a camouflage hat. Walz’s outfit quickly drew attention — especially from Chappelle Rowan fans, who joked about the resemblance between the viral singer and her character. Midwest Princess Hat and Walz.
Shortly after, the Harris-Walz campaign released its own camouflage hat that looks almost identical to Midwest Princess Rowan even commented on the now-viral hat, tweeting “Is this real” in response to another tweet about the hat.
The Harris-Walz campaign has not officially confirmed whether the hat is a reference to Rowan, but they do have a track record of embracing icons. Two weeks ago, after Charli XCX tweeted “Kamala is a bad girl,” the vice president’s official Twitter page changed its background image to Naughty– Green. Needless to say, Harris and Charlie's fans quickly turned green. Naughty– Harris themed products which you can also find on sites like Etsy.
