In a statement to diverse, “A decade later, I’m still incredibly proud to have been a part of Damien’s thought-provoking and exciting film,” said Horowitz. “That’s why I’m so excited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Whiplash by leading a live jazz band in front of the film at one of Los Angeles’ most iconic theaters. I can’t wait for fans here to experience the energy and intensity of Whiplash in a whole new way, watching the film as the music and crazy drumming are played right in front of them.”
