Dimitri could play a bigger role in the final episodes, supporting his teammates and perhaps dissuading some of them from doing something they might regret. When it comes down to it, no matter who wins the Seikai-Taikai tournament, Dimitri is destined to become great. He joined karate to learn self-defense and continues to use it as such.
