In Strange Eyes, a young couple begins receiving strange videos after the mysterious disappearance of their infant daughter, and they realize that someone has been recording their daily lives – even their most intimate moments. As the identity of the eavesdropper and the truth behind the videos are revealed, the family begins to fall apart.
The Taiwan screening will mark the film's Asian premiere and first public screening since its world premiere this week in Venice. Yeo's previous film, “An Imagined Land,” won two awards at the Golden Horse Film Awards.
The 2024 Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival is scheduled to be held from November 7 to 24. Its full program will be revealed on October 25.

Bafta The Disneyland Organization announced Wednesday that seven industry figures have been elected to its film, gaming and television committees. The new additions include producers Ian Canning and Barnaby Thompson, actor Ray Panthaki, gaming industry experts Charo Desoudet and Alex Jones, and television executives Carolyn Levy and Alison Barnett.
The committees that oversee BAFTA's awards and charitable initiatives also see several returning members, including Emma Bate, Des Gayle, Jason Solomons, Tara Saunders and Addie Rawcliffe.
Representatives are elected for two-year terms, and are voted on by the membership. Elections are held every year, with half of the committee members retiring each year in rotation.
