But it focuses a lot on the entire family dynamic rather than just focusing on Sheldon.
Along with the other main characters, including Sheldon's family members, the show also features various side characters. Unfortunately, by the time the series wrapped up its final season, many of the side characters' stories remained unresolved. In some cases, fans felt cheated because they wanted to at least know what happened to these characters beyond a fleeting glimpse or, in some cases, complete disappearance.
Paige had a promising arc.
Paige Swanson (McKenna Grace) was a pivotal figure in Sheldon's (Iain Armitage) life growing up, and one that fans feel was never given enough rest. She was the first person to threaten Sheldon's ego, a young girl like him who was just as smart, if not smarter. And the fact that she also had better social and interpersonal skills than Sheldon was even more devastating to the young boy.
Sheldon first meets Paige in season 2. She is another 10-year-old student in Dr. Sturgis' (Wallace Shawn) class, and he is surprised to see someone as young as him there.He becomes jealous when he realizes that she knows things he doesn't, and that she likely started high school a year younger than him. Mary (Zoe Perry), who doesn't see the competition, invites the family over for a “play date,” thinking the kids will get along. It turns out the opposite. However, the two eventually grow closer when Sheldon learns that Paige is upset about her parents' possible divorce.
Later, when they meet again, Paige bonds more with Missy (Regan Revord) and the duo become friends. But when they met Paige again, things got worse: she seemed like a completely different person.Affected by her parents' divorce, she became rebellious and changed her style to be more edgy. She also neglected her schoolwork and got into trouble. Her careless behavior led to wasted potential, and even committing crimes as she began doing things like shoplifting. The next time Sheldon sees Paige, she has dropped out of college, is drinking underage, and is even trying to hook up with an older man. Missy takes her to Sheldon's dorm for a sleepover. But with Missy dealing with her anger and rebellious ways at the time, the two steal a car and drive off together. After the police stop them and Mary comes to pick them up, This is the last fans will see or hear of Paige..
Since the recurring character has appeared so often throughout the series, it makes sense that we would get some details about her. The older Sheldon never mentions her at all in Big Bang Theoryas the character wasn't written out until the sequel series (though they managed to fully integrate her into the story). But fans will love knowing that she turned her life around, and maybe even became a respected scientist. Even if the story is sad, getting an idea of what happened to Paige would be appreciated..
It might have been hard to fit into the story in the end. young man Sheldon because he was so focused on the sudden death of George Sr. (Lance Barber) and Sheldon goes to school. Maybe Big's appearance out of nowhere was a distraction.However, due to the abandonment of this important secondary character, fans were left in the dark, and forced to come up with their own theories about what happened to her.

Bobby
There were other side characters who either disappeared into oblivion or weren't given a proper sendoff. Fans will remember that neighbors Brenda (Melissa Peterman) and Hershel (Billy Gardell) had a daughter in addition to their son Billy (Wyatt McClure). Bobbie (Mia Allan) appeared in one episode as the bully that Sheldon referred to as a child. As it turns out, Sheldon was so upset when Tam revealed that his family was moving away that he cut off all ties with the only friend he had.At least this side character's storyline is resolved. The appearance also explains why Sheldon never mentioned Tam to his adult friends, only telling them that he had no friends in high school. This was all part of Sheldon's defense mechanism, cutting all memories of Tam out of his life once he felt Tam had abandoned him.

While Tam was Sheldon's first and only friend, it was Libby (Anjelica Washington) who he first fell in love with. Sheldon was a smart high school student, and seemed fascinated by her intelligence and opened up to her more than anyone else. Being around her was the only time Sheldon seemed like a “normal” teenager, and the only time he seemed like he might have feelings for someone. But It was only there for a fleeting moment.It was nice to have a full moment to come back to.
June (Reba McEntire) becomes a prominent character in later seasons, as the ex-wife of Connie's (Annie Potts) boyfriend, Dale (Craig T. Nelson). Instead of despising each other, the two women become close friends. They frequently have dinner and drinks together, and even travel together for ladies' weekends. They share intimate details about their lives, and even about Dale.
but, Once Connie's story turned to running a secret gambling business, June seemed to disappear.She rarely appeared, as if the two had drifted apart and stopped talking, or perhaps drifted apart. Connie probably didn't have much time to hang out anymore due to business. Plus, she had a lot to deal with after her house was destroyed. Still, it was nice to see some closure with John other than just a passing appearance at George's funeral.
Other characters worth mentioning include Ira Rosenblum (Richard Kind), Connie's on-and-off boyfriend; Mrs. McElroy (Valerie Mahaffey), Sheldon's teacher who's always frustrated with him; and Erica (Ella Anderson), Paige's sister who becomes friends with Missy and Georgie (Montana Jordan) at one point.
Is it possible that they will appear again in the spinoff movie?
There is a possibility to correct some of these problems. With the sub-series George and Mandy's first marriage The series is set to premiere on CBS on October 17, 2024, and some of these characters may reappear. The series centers on George and Mandy (Emily Osment), who, despite no longer living in the same house, are still in Texas raising their daughter, Cece.
Where it has been confirmed Messi will appear in the show.Paige might be visiting her old friend again. She and Missy were closer to her than Sheldon, sharing a love of teenage girl things like makeup, magazines, and boys.
Assuming Connie makes at least one or two appearances, June could show up too. She could be a neighbor or a customer at the family tire shop. The same could go for others like Libby, Ira, Miss McElroy, Erica, and even a now-grown Bobbie. She could be a local babysitter for C.C.
Any of these secondary characters showing up would be a great Easter egg that would tie the series together and pay for the fan service. But more importantly, it would give them a proper ending to their stories. They would feel like they were part of the fabric of the show and not just pointless, temporary plot devices. At least some of these secondary characters deserved more than that.
