Justice Drop Anime Video for Tame Impala-Featuring Song ‘Neverender’

Justice paired their song “Neverender” featuring Tame Impala, a great track from the French duo's latest album over dramaWith a new video inspired by the 80s anime.

Directed by Masanobu Hiraoka alongside long-time Justice collaborators Pascal Teixeira and Armand Perrault, the visual for Neverender also draws inspiration from the psychedelic works of legendary French artist Moebius.

“The music video for ‘The Neverender’ gave us the perfect opportunity to channel many of our visual influences, all while making them even more special through Masanobu Hiraoka’s unique reinterpretation,” Justice said in a statement.

“We were initially inspired by the anime title sequences we grew up with in the 80s, which set the visual tone for the video. From there, other key images from our teenage years naturally emerged. Whether it was the work of Moebius, psychedelic art, graphic novels, or iconic movie posters that blew our minds, Masanobu’s style seamlessly and alone absorbed it all.”

The new video comes just days ahead of Justice's digital release of “Neverender,” which features new remixes of the track by Keinemusik's Kaytranada and Rampa, as well as an extended version of the song.
