The official launch of Hulu on Disney+ was celebrated at a star-studded party at Mother Wolf in Hollywood on April 5.

Hosted by Disney’s Dana Walden and Alan Bergman, with a special appearance by Bob Iger, the evening included a blue arrivals carpet and an exclusive cocktail reception.

“Today, I think, consumers want not only quality but they want volume and they want convenience. And this is now all three in one place,” Iger told Variety about adding Hulu to Disney+. “It’s great to have this array of great content very conveniently located instead of having to close one app and go to the other app. I think what streaming demands is a great user experience. That’s what this is aimed for.”

Tom Hiddleston talked about the possibility of “Loki” not being renewed for a third season. “I truly don’t know,” he said. “There had been times before when I truly thought it was the end and I’ve been mistaken. But if this is the end, I’m so proud of where we ended up.”

No matter what, Hiddleston would still love to continue playing Loki in future Marvel projects. He named some characters he’d still like to share screen time with: “The X-Men are back in there, right? Wolverine’s in them. My friend Charlie Cox plays Daredevil…I love Charlie to bits.”

Kaitlin Olson joked that her long running series, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” will go way beyond its current 16th season. “17,000 [more seasons],” she cracked. “We’re gonna be really old.”

She then pointed to her co-star Danny DeVito: “Look at this guy! We better cram them in.”

“Shōgun” star Hiroyuki Sanada said he wouldn’t mind joining the “Star Wars” franchise. “I’m a big fan of them,” he told Variety, before stopping short of naming his favorite character. “I cannot say one because the world itself is amazing.”
