Desert Days is The Southern California music festival is returning to Lake Perris after a hiatus last year. On Tuesday, the Southern California music festival announced that Jack White, Cigarettes After Six, Alex G, The Mars Volta and Thundercat are among the headliners set to perform at the Oct. 10-13 event later this year.
Artists set to headline the festival include Fleet Foxes, 100 Gecs, Sleep, Liz Phair, De LaSoul, Marc Rebillet, Molchat Doma and The Kills. Power Trip, Beach Fossils, DIIV, Unwound, Say She She, Souls of Mischief, Shintaro Sakamoto, Danny Brown and Mount Kimbie will also be performing at the three-day festival.
The festival will also include a performance by Death From Above 1979 of their album You are a woman, I am a machine To celebrate the album's 20th anniversary, there will be a book reading by Kathleen Hannah, and a Jazz is Dead performance with Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas, and Adrian Young.
The festival will also feature art installations by Non Plus Ultra, Media Pollution, and Translucent Albatross, alongside works by showcase artists such as Big Pauper, Mad Alchemy Liquid Light Show, and Astral Violet.
Weekend tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, July 26 at 10 a.m. PT, with tickets starting at $299 for general admission.
Last year's event was cancelled, and instead a 10-show series called Daze in the City was introduced, featuring performances from Dandy Warhols, Les Claypool and Blonde Redhead. The 2022 edition of the festival featured performances from Tame Impala, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, The Marias and Iggy Pop.
