In the dark horror film Bagman, a family finds themselves trapped in a nightmare where they are haunted by an evil mythical creature. For centuries and across cultures, parents have warned their children about the mythical Bagman, who kidnaps innocent children and seals them in his rotting, rotting bag—never to be seen again. Patrick Mackey (Sam Claflin) narrowly escaped such an encounter as a boy, leaving him permanently scarred for the rest of his adult life. Now, Patrick's childhood tormentor has returned, threatening the safety of his wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) and son Jake (Karel Roden).
Lionsgate, in association with Media Capital Technologies, presents a Temple Hill production. Written by John Holm and directed by Colm McCarthy, Bagman will be released in theaters on September 20, 2024.
