In 2021, Blake Lively took her first steps into serious entrepreneurship by launching Betty Buzz, a line of non-alcoholic sodas. But all the while, she was secretly working on another brand that would likely excite her fans even more: a hair care line.
After seven years in the making, the 36-year-old actress, whose long blonde hair has become a staple in some of her favorite on-screen roles (yes, we're looking at you, Serena), has announced a line of hair care products so you, too, can at least try to achieve the same voluminous hair.
The new collection, called Blake Brown, consists of eight hair care and styling products, including two shampoos, their respective treatment masks, a leave-in treatment, a mousse, a pre-shampoo mask, and a dry shampoo. The collection, which ranges in price from $18.99 to $24.99, will be available exclusively at Target starting August 4.
You'd be forgiven for quickly reading that product list and assuming that conditioner was included. But no, in an unexpected twist, Lively doesn't believe in conditioner, even telling Vogue that she doesn't “know anyone who uses conditioner in their [her] industry.”
Instead, Lively opted for two shampoos, one designed to moisturize and one designed to strengthen hair. Along with the masks, these four products will serve as staples for the brand as it continues to develop more products in the future.
Right now, you can shop the entire Blake Brown collection exclusively at Target starting August 4.
