Jameson Parker Promoted to CEO of Lighthouse Pictures

Lighthouse Pictures has promoted VP of Production Jameson Parker to CEO, diverse to learn.

Former CEO and co-founder Jamie Goehring will remain in charge of day-to-day operations while Parker will take on the task of expanding the company's product line and moving into new markets.

The news comes after Martini Film Studios acquired Toronto-based Lighthouse in April.

Parker has worked with Johring and Sean Williamson, co-founder of Lighthouse Pictures and founder of Brightlight Pictures, for nearly a decade, producing titles including “It Lives Inside” (QC Entertainment/Neon), the Sundance hit “Summer of ’84” (Gunpowder & Sky) and the most-watched cable film of 2022, “Three Wise Men and a Baby” (Hallmark). He has also worked on “Julie and the Phantoms” (Netflix), the upcoming “Borderline” (LuckyChap/Red A Entertainment) and the Lea Thompson series “Chicken Sisters” (MarVista and Hallmark).

Lighthouse Pictures produces films and series for networks and platforms including Netflix, Disney, Sony, Hallmark, A&E/Lifetime, Viacom and others.

“I am incredibly grateful for the trust the Lighthouse team has placed in me,” said Parker. “I look forward to working with Gemma and Jamie as we build on the tremendous work Lighthouse has done to date. This is a fantastic opportunity to further enrich and expand the company’s brand – I couldn’t be more excited.”

“Part of the strategy when we acquired Lighthouse Pictures was to expand the scope and scale of productions we would produce across Canada,” said Gemma Martini, Founder and CEO of Martini Film Studios. “With Jameson taking over as CEO, Jamie Goehring will focus his efforts on expanding the production slate, while continuing to work alongside Jameson on the day-to-day operations of producing for clients with our highly respected production teams here in Vancouver.”
