The Boys’ Antony Starr Says His Breast Milk Scene in Season 4 Was His Weirdest

Anthony Starr He says Boys The breast milk scene in season four was the most bizarre he's ever been involved in on the show. That's a pretty bold claim, especially considering the depraved antics Homelander has been a part of since the beginning of the superhero series. However, according to the actor, while speaking on Boys“At the San Diego Community Panel on Friday, there was something about the psyche of the scene that made it more bizarre than anything he had done before.

The scene in question happened in episode 6,dirty work“When Firecracker (Valorie Curry) reveals to Homeland that she has been taking a drug to help her produce breast milk like a pregnant woman. For those who are well versed in the nuances of BoysIt goes without saying that Homelander and breast milk are as connected as Billy Butcher and a torrent of profanity. In the scene we see Firecracker squirting milk directly into Homelander's face, then feeding him straight from her breast like a baby.

Starr cited the scene as the weirdest of the entire season, saying (via ScreenRant):

“I've done a lot of weird things in my career, but one of the weirdest things was when I opened it and saw this human being in front of me. [laughs]“We got along great, so everything I'm going to say is going to be in context, it was when there was breast milk flowing. That was the weirdest thing because it wasn't a lot, I mean we did weird things on the show, and honestly, everyone did weird things. But it was about the psychology behind it, and it turned into this love scene.”

The Boys are gearing up for a huge final season.

While Homelander's milk obsession is sure to continue into the final season of BoysFirecracker is clearly doing herself a lot of harm in order to meet her boss's needs. But that's certainly not the biggest story that will continue in the show's upcoming fifth season.

In the finale of season four of BoysButcher was headed to a showdown with Homelander, armed with a Superman-killing virus and a demon on his shoulder in the form of Joe Kessler, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The rest of the boys were captured by Vought and Supers' enforcers, except for Starlight, who managed to regain her powers in time to escape capture or worse. Meanwhile, Ashley Barrett takes extreme measures to avoid becoming a victim on Homelander's list, injecting herself with Compound-V and initiating a “strange” transformation that will be revealed when the series returns in 2026.
