Watch Muna Cover Chappell Roan’s ‘Good Luck, Babe!’ at All Things Go

Mona covered Chappelle Rowan's song “Good Luck, Darling!” During their headlining show at the All Things Go Festival in Columbia, Maryland at the Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday. The choice of cover was fitting, given that the band replaces Rowan, who is coming off a headlining set at the New York edition of the festival held at Forest Hill Stadium on Saturday as well as a set on Sunday.

“Obviously we knew it wasn't us that we were expecting to see today, it was Chappelle,” Mona's Katie Gavin said on stage Sunday. “And we love Chappelle Rowan… We would really love to have you guys sing with us and I don't know, this is a collective exercise in our love for her. She really deserves it.”

The band then dedicated their cover of Rowan's huge hit “Good Luck Babe!” For the singer. Their slow, beautiful vocal show becomes a sing-along with the audience, as highlights from the show highlight.

Rowan announced Friday that she is “unable to perform” in both shows, citing her health and the “overwhelming” past few weeks.

“I really feel it,” Rowan wrote in the post announcing the cancellation of her sets over the weekend. “I feel pressured to prioritize a lot of things right now and need a few days to prioritize my health.”
