In a trailer, Emily, played by Lily Collins, holds up a teacup with the number five at its base, a nod to the upcoming season.
After Emily's Romance After meeting in Paris and Rome, the romance begins again. Although the next destination is unknown, Emily in Paris The Last Jedi will be renewed for a fifth season, Netflix announced Monday, following the release of the second part of season four.
Lily Collins, who plays Emily, revealed the news in Good morning America Interview Monday. In a teaser video, Emily says, “There's no place like Rome” before taking a sip of Emily in Paris Teacup. When you lift the drink, it reveals the number five at the base, indicating the coming season.
In Season 4, which follows the dramatic end of Camille (Camille Raza) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo)'s engagement, Emily battles romantically with handsome British banker Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and Michelin-starred Gabriel. Emily's boss Sylvie (Filipino Leroy Beaulieu) must confront her own troubled past for the sake of her marriage, while the marketing team at Grato, Emily's agency, deals with their own dilemmas. And as Mindy's (Ashley Park) band prepares to perform at Eurovision, they run out of money, forcing Mindy to get creative as she searches for cash.
In Season 4, Part 2, Emily travels to Rome with Gabriel and his ex-fiancée Camille. While there, her new beau Marcelo falls in love with her (literally) during a ski trip in the French Alps. Business and romance combine, as Emily falls for Marcelo, who runs a family-owned cashmere business and whose marketing team hopes to sign him.
The cast of season four also includes William Abadie, Bruno Goiri, Samuel Arnold, and Thalia Bisson.
