Hulu’s selection of films is always reliably solid, and its lineup next month is no exception. As April quickly approaches, the upcoming slew of options on the streaming platform are likely to please most of its subscribers. With offerings from directors like Greta Gerwig and Olivia Wilde, viewers certainly won’t have to venture far to find quality movies.
While there’s only one original film in the mix, Hulu still has plenty of options heading to the streaming service next month that audiences will surely enjoy. From chilling thrillers to heartfelt romantic dramas and nearly everything in between, Hulu has it all next month. Given the variety of films arriving on the platform in April, those without a subscription are most definitely missing out.
Don’t Worry Darling

Directed by Olivia Wilde, Don’t Worry Darling tells the story of Alice (Florence Pugh), a 1950s housewife who begins questioning her idyllic life after noticing strange behavior from the other wives in the neighborhood. While her husband, Jack (Harry Styles), works at a secretive company that purports to work on something that will change the world, Alice spends her time cooking, cleaning, and living a life of luxury. However, when she pushes back on what’s really going on with her husband, his boss, and the others working toward what they perceive as a better future, she uncovers something more nefarious than she could have ever imagined. Don’t Worry Darling is streaming on Hulu on Apr. 1.
The Channel

The Channel follows brothers Jamie (Clayne Crawford) and Mic (Max Martini) as they attempt to escape New Orleans after their bank heist goes wrong. Pursued by determined FBI Special Agent Frank Ross (Nicoye Banks), the pair of former Marines and the rest of their motley crew must evade authorities and other local criminals if they want to make it out of the city alive. Conflict arises between the brothers when one seeks to leave their criminal past behind for good, and the other can’t keep his actions in check. The Channel is streaming on Hulu on Apr. 12.

Boy in the Walls follows Alisa Jensen (Ryan Michelle Bathe), a newlywed who moves to Connecticut after living a busy life in Manhattan, hoping for a peaceful future with her new husband. Furthermore, she’s unable to shake the feeling that something or someone is always watching her. However, when no one else seems to experience the same thing, her sanity is called into question, which only makes the situation more dire.
